Solo Travlers Club Logo

The Solo Travelers Club mission is to give individual travelers the opportunity to meet and travel with other like-minded travelers and provide quality travel experiences that include friendship, value and peace of mind.

Throughout the year, we host meetings for members to mingle with their fellow solo travelers and learn about a variety of travel opportunities.

Meet your Solo Travelers Club team!

Program Manager
Sue Smith is a travel industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. She has personally accompanied hundreds of specialty group trips, sailed on over 200 cruises, and has visited over 40 different states and countries.

Sue takes great pride in her work, and everyone who has traveled with her knows she takes special care of those with whom she travels and boy does she know how to have fun! "I love helping travelers discover new places and enjoy hearing about their adventures," Sue said.

When Sue isn't traveling herself, she enjoys gathering with family and friends, spending time with her grandson, cooking delicious meals, shopping, and venturing out to see new movies.

Program Coordinator

Lynn Richau has been at AAA for close to 40 years and has been involved with the Solo Club from its inception in 2010. You've seen her at the meetings and events and have probably spoken to her on the phone as she helps with reservations. You might have even been on a trip that she's escorted!

An avid traveler, Lynn has been all over the world. Some of her favorite destinations have been Alaska, Scandinavia, the Caribbean, and Ireland. She's enjoyed everywhere she's visited, but cruising is her favorite (she loves getting spoiled by the cruise staff).

Outside of her Solo Club duties, Lynn spends much of the summer attending outdoor concerts. When the weather forces her inside she likes to relax with a good book and a glass of wine.
