Follow my family on our recent road trip to Erie:
Splash Lagoon: Indoor waterpark fun
Our first stop in Erie was Splash Lagoon, an indoor waterpark that provided hours of enjoyment for the whole family. With thrilling slides, water play areas for younger children, and a fun tropical atmosphere, Splash Lagoon was a fantastic place to cool off.
Round1: Arcade excitement
Next on our itinerary was Round1, a large two-story arcade located at the Millcreek Mall. Offering a wide array of arcade games, bowling lanes, karaoke, and more, Round One was a hit with the entire family. With an impressive stock of imported games that I’ve never seen in the US, this is the most over-the-top arcade I’ve ever been to.
Erie Zoo: Wildlife encounters
The following day, we took a quick trip to the Erie Zoo. The zoo is well-maintained, easy to navigate, and a great place to observe a variety of fascinating animals up close. The children particularly enjoyed the train ride, the captivating model train display, and the whimsical merry-go-round. Our visit to the Erie Zoo was both educational and entertaining.
Actiontoyman: Nostalgic delight
Actiontoyman is a specialty store catering to collectors and enthusiasts of retro action figures, comics, and collectibles. Stepping into the store feels like a journey back in time surrounded by warm childhood memories. Actiontoyman is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a touch of nostalgia.
We had a great weekend in Erie, and we plan to return this summer to enjoy the beaches of Presque Isle and Erie’s wealth of shopping options.
