AAA Western and Central New York at Canalside Touch a Truck
This Saturday is Explore & More’s biggest event of the summer, and AAA will be there at Canalside in downtown Buffalo. Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum’s annual Touch A Truck event returns for 2021. The community is invited to come and join in the fun at Canalside on Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 50 trucks, including a AAA flatbed, will be parked along Canalside for a fun outdoor event for the whole family.
Along with the AAA truck, children can explore construction, utility, and first responder vehicles; honk the horn of a firetruck or sit in the driver’s seat of the pink cement truck mixer – all for free!
Date: Saturday, August 28, 2021
Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Canalside Buffalo, Explore & More
AAA Dispatch Manager Dan Fisher will be on hand with the AAA truck to greet families and share Otto the Auto tattoos and School’s Open, Drive Carefully branded rulers with little ones. Stop out and see him!
The day starts with a sensory hour from 10 AM-11 AM for those who are sensitive to loud noises.
While registration is not required to attend Touch A Truck outside at Canalside for free, those planning to go into the museum and participate in the activities inside do require a ticket. The museum advises families to purchase tickets ahead of time as admission is expected to sellout.
