About Us
Our Partner in Traffic Safety
With more than a century of service, AAA Western and Central New York is the leading advocate for the safety and security of motorists and travelers throughout 25 counties in Upstate New York.
Formed in February 2012, the Auto Club of Western & Central NY Foundation for Traffic Safety Inc. is dedicated to promoting traffic safety education and raising awareness of safe driving practices to reduce traffic related deaths and injuries. It is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization affiliated with AAA Western and Central New York.
It is our goal to have an impact in the local communities we serve. We support initiatives to educate teen drivers, improve child passenger safety and address senior mobility, as well as a variety of traffic safety concerns, such as distracted, drowsy and impaired driving.
Half of contributions collected are spent on local traffic safety programs and education while the other half goes toward national programs under the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, which has been conducting traffic safety research for more than 70 years.
Together, we can improve the lives of all roadway users. Thank you for your support.
