James Nixon has joined AAA Western and Central New York as Vice President of Automotive Services. From AAA’s Amherst headquarters, Jim will lead and grow all automotive services for AAA Western and Central New York. This includes two Fleet operations, a network of contractors, AAA Car Care Plus, an extensive Approved Auto Repair facility program, and much more.

Most recently, Jim worked as District Manager for NAPA Auto Parts. He also served in other roles for NAPA here in New York as well as out of state in Florida and New Jersey. Jim already has a working relationship with many garages and automotive service companies in the region thanks to his experience with NAPA over the past eight years.

A graduate of Williamsville North High School and Daemen College, Jim looks forward to utilizing his skills to benefit AAA. “I’m excited to join a professional organization with a keen focus on its members,” he said. “From the top down, AAA’s focus is all about serving members and always creating a more rewarding experience than before.”

Jim is a Western New York native who is also an avid hockey player, so naturally, he’s a loyal Sabres fan. He also roots for the Bills every Sunday. Jim now calls Lancaster home with his immediate family including his wife Belinda, who is originally from Australia, and their two young children.

AAA Western and Central New York’s automotive services include emergency road service 24/7/365, battery service, and more. Jim will be responsible for leading and growing the entire automotive operation.
