AAA Western and Central New York has hired a new Supervisor of Insurance. Kelsey Schmidt joined the team at AAA in June and will manage, train and coach AAA insurance agents across the region to ensure that they are providing the best possible service to a growing number of policyholders.

Kelsey previously held the Supervisor of Insurance title at GEICO and spent several years in customer development at Northtown Automotive Companies. Her experience and knowledge of the automotive industry helped with her transition to AAA.

“Born and raised in Buffalo, I know the imprint that AAA has,” she said. “At AAA Western and Central New York, members and policyholders are talking to agents that live in their same community and it really feels closer to the heart.”

Kelsey will work out of AAA’s Amherst headquarters in the Buffalo region, but she will oversee all customer service representatives in the insurance division across Western and Central New York.

“I’m excited to be a part of this team to utilize my customer service experience. I understand the importance of leaving a positive impact,” she said. “It is of great value, as a customer, to be able to connect with your representative and know the person who is going to be helping you. I’m passionate about that level of ‘white glove’ service.”

When she’s not at work, Kelsey and her husband stay busy with home renovations, bringing new life to old furniture, and keeping up with their four active kids and two dogs.
