We are pleased to announce Christopher Ferreira has recently joined AAA Western and Central New York as Director of Automotive Operations. He will oversee automotive operations across the Central and Western region, including the Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse metro areas.

Chris comes to AAA with more than 20 years of service in the United States Navy, where he rose through the ranks from an enlisted recruit to an Operational Commanding Officer. Chris brings innovative leadership skills to AAA’s Automotive Operations and is responsible for the strategic development, oversite, and administration of all aspects of the Club’s automotive services including: Emergency Roadside Service (ERS), battery services, and other ancillary programs. 

When deciding what new career direction to undertake, Chris said several positive factors guided him to choose AAA. “I saw an opportunity to continue serving in a role where my contributions are valued, and I can make a positive impact,” he said. “This position allows me to leverage the skills gained in the Navy to improve the current services AAA offers to its members.”

Chris is valued for his technical background and strategic focus. He studied mechanical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and holds a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

Chris enjoys outdoor activities, running, and spending time with his three children. His wife is a native of Western New York, and he and his family are proud to call East Aurora home in this next chapter of life.
