AAA Western and Central New York is proud to announce a new Four Diamond hotel in the region. The Curtiss Hotel, 210 Franklin St., Buffalo, is the newest local property to be named a AAA Four Diamond.

In 2024, AAA added more than one hundred hotels and restaurants to its distinguished Four Diamonds list. Only four of the hotels were in New York State, and one was in Buffalo. Four Diamond properties offer upscale amenities and distinctive fine dining.

Throughout the year, AAA Inspectors visit hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica unannounced to objectively conduct inspections. Diamond lists are updated monthly, as AAA Inspectors visit properties throughout the year. The Curtiss Hotel made the list in December 2024.

Currently, there are approximately 140 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants, and 1,750 Four Diamond hotels and 500 Four Diamond restaurants. There are now 18 hotels and two restaurants in the Western and Central New York region which have been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond distinction.

Four Diamond hotels are noted for upscale style and amenities enhanced with the right touch of service. Four Diamond restaurants feature distinctive fine dining, well-served amid an upscale ambiance.
