Dry Tortugas National Park
70 miles west of Key West | 305-242-7700
Take a two-hour boat ride west of Key West (or get adventurous and take a seaplane) and end up in a little bit of heaven at this national park. Snorkeling and swimming abound in crystal clear water, but so does a history lesson, if you choose to tour Fort Jefferson.

The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum
907 Whitehead St.†| 305-294-1575
For more than 10 years, Hemingway lived and wrote here in this two-story home with beautiful grounds. Hemingway memorabilia abounds, as do the fabled polydactyl (or six-toed) cats and some wonderful history imparted by knowledgeable guides.

245 Front St., Sunset Key Cottages | 305-292-5394
A brief boat ride from a beautiful spot on Key West takes you to an even more beautiful spot at Sunset Key (it's named that for a reason, their sunset views are stunning). Steak and seafood dishes are impeccable, and a stroll along the pristine grounds, alight with tiki torches, is as romantic as it gets.

Kelly's Caribbean Bar, Grill and Brewery
301 Whitehead St. | 305-293-8484
A Key West institution since 1992, this restaurant co-owned by actress Kelly McGillis (Top Gun, Witness) features tasty local cuisine and a beautiful outdoor courtyard. It also happens to be the U.S. southernmost brewery. Don't miss the coconut shrimp and Key lime pie.

Amsterdam's Curry Mansion Inn
511 Caroline St. | 877-927-4576
Donít let the address fool you. This beautiful bed and breakfast is just off Duval Street, mere steps from the hustle and bustle of the heart of Key West. Breakfasts on the patio are sumptuous, and accommodations, whether in the main mansion or across the street in the annex, are comfortable and quiet. Cocktail hour is an added treat.

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa
601 Front St. | 305-809-1234
Beautiful rooms with sweeping views of the ocean, as well as waterfront dining. You're also in the heart of Key West's Old Town, but with the merriment and nightlife of Duval Street nearby. And you can't get much closer for the daily sunset celebration at Mallory Square.
