Insider Magic

At Disney World with Goofy

Disney Tips and Tricks from Stacy Crowley, Travel Sales Manager and Disney Enthusiast!

Stacy is an avid Walt Disney World Resort visitor and even worked at the park! Here she explains the differences in each of the four uniquely themed parks.

Magic Kingdom® Park:

Magic Kingdom Park is where fairytale dreams come true for children of all ages. Home to classic attractions, over the top firework displays, and parades of beloved Disney Characters across six whimsical lands, the Magic Kingdom Park is the park that started it all at Walt Disney World Resort. See fantasy become a reality as you explore Adventureland®, Frontierland®, Liberty Square, Fantasyland®, Tomorrowland® and Main Street, U.S.A.®. Zoom through space, become a swashbuckling pirate and watch fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella Castle.

Stacy Says: There are some restaurants throughout Walt Disney World where you can make reservations before the park opening. This allows you to create beautiful memories and photos before the rush of people come into the park!

Discover thrilling attractions, charming international pavilions, and award-winning fireworks. Celebrating the human spirit, EPCOT has two distinct realms: Future World, which features technological innovations, and World Showcase, which is home to 11 countries: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

Stacy Says: The best time to come to Disney as an adult is during mid-October for the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Step into the action with attractions based on blockbuster movies and top TV shows, and delight in exciting entertainment that puts you center stage. With the enthusiasm of a bustling movie set, this park features eight sections: Animation Courtyard, Echo Lake, Mickey Avenue, Grand Avenue, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land.

Come live your very own Star Wars story at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Build your droid, create your custom lightsaber and sample the concoctions of the local cantina. Then, gather your crew and take control of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Find yourself caught in an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance—where the incoming laser fire of a towering AT-AT is matched only by the red crackle of Kylo Ren’s lightsaber.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park:

Encounter exotic animals and exciting adventures at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Home to more than 1,700 animals across 250 species, the park reflects Walt Disney’s dedication to conservation and is committed to animal care, education and research. Explore seven enthralling lands: Africa, Asia, Dinoland U.S.A®, Discovery Island®, Oasis, Rafiki's Planet Watch®, and Pandora-The World of Avatar.

Stacy Says: The quietest times to visit Walt Disney World Resort are the second week in January and the week after Labor Day.

Aloha! Disney at Sea and Hawaii.

AULANI, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, was designed by Walt Disney Imagineers working hand in hand with Hawaiians to create a place celebrating island culture and history. Everything from the wondrous volcanic outcroppings to the breathtaking Resort architecture honors the fundamental connection between nature and humanity that the Hawaiians have cherished since the beginning of time. And because Hawaiians love to layer meaning in their words, so the name "Aulani" has more than one meaning. It is the place that speaks for the ancestors, yet it is also the place that speaks with deep messages.
