Strasburg Rail Road

Check out a historic steam train up close before you hop on board for a ride through the Amish countryside. Audio commentary is provided on the tour. The railroad is open Dec. 26-31 and specific weekends in February and March. It's also open weekdays starting in April.

Amish farmers supply this decades- old restaurant, which serves up entrees such as roasted top sirloin, baked cabbage in cream sauce and brown buttered noodles, plus soups, salads, veggies and desserts, all made from scratch. And don't forget breakfast - served on Saturdays and Sundays.

Since 1959, Plain & Fancy has been home to the Amish Farm Feast, a multi-course, pass-the-platter dinner that will leave no one in the family hungry. Lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and large groups are welcome, although reservations are suggested.
