Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights”, which returns to Universal Studios Florida on select nights from September 6 – November 2, is the ultimate Halloween event that allows guests to become victims inside their own horror film. Movie-quality mazes based on iconic horror television shows, films and original stories come to life; and the streets of each park’s event are transformed into scare zones where menacing actors lunge from every dark corner.

Six of the ten haunted houses have already been announced for Halloween Horror Nights 2019:

Stranger Things

Picking up where last year’s mazes left off, a predatory entity terrorizes a small town, delving further into the parallel universe, the Upside Down. Come face-to-face with snarling Demodogs and make your way through iconic scenes and locations – from Chief Hopper’s cabin to the Starcourt Mall.

Universal Monsters

Inspired by the Universal’s original cinematic monsters, this terrifying experience will wake some of the most frightening and legendary monsters in horror history – Dracula, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Creature from the Black Lagoon and more. Guests will try to escape to safety as the monsters unleash havoc on anything in their paths.

Nightingales: Blood Pit

This all-new horrifying original story transports guests back to ancient Rome where they must escape the gladiator arena as bloodthirsty nightingales feed on the dead and dying. With nothing to protect them, guests try to survive alongside the gladiators as the grisly nightingales tear into their victims and notice the fresh blood that has come into their midst.

Depths of Fear

Another original story from Universal Entertainment, guests begin in a deep-sea mining company that has been infested by parasitic “Mouthbrooders,” who spew their acidic flesh-eating eggs upon unsuspecting humans, turning them into crazed hosts. Guests must try to escape the infected miners and acidic creatures as the water pressure counts down to the inevitable implosion of the facility.

Yeti: Terror of the Yukon

Located in an isolated, uninhabitable logging camp, guests seek refuge from a freezing arctic blizzard. They quickly discover they’ve intruded into someone – or something – else’s territory. Inside the camp is a tribe of brutal Yeti who will stop at nothing for a taste of blood. Guests must try to survive the terrifying beasts or venture out and try to survive the frigid icy elements.

Jordan Peele's Us

The journey begins in 1986 as guests follow young Adelaide Wilson as she ventures through a mirror funhouse on the boardwalk and has a fateful and traumatic encounter with her tethered doppelgänger. The harrowing experience will then transition to present day, thrusting guests into the chaos of “The Tethered” uprising as they emerge from their tunnels to murder their privileged doubles in a nationwide coordinated act of rebellion.
