Nova Scotia with Prince Edward Island and the Cabot Trail

It is appropriate that Nova Scotia is named “Canada’s Ocean Playground” as it has 1500 miles of coastline. Prince Edward Island has a reputation as a province of outstanding natural beauty, pastoral landscapes, rolling hills, woods, ocean coves and its famous reddish white sand beaches. The Cabot Trail is a trail that winds through stunning landscapes and spectacular rugged highlands of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada. The trail was named after Italian explorer John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto) who reached its shores in 1497, sailing on a mission for King Henry VII of England.
