This jukebox journey takes you from the home of Country music, Blues, and Rock ‘n’ Roll to the multi-cultural melting pot of New Orleans - peppered throughout with the flavours of the South. Premium Experiences & Dining: Walk through musical history, decade by decade at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Even after all these years, to strut the stage of the Grand Ole Opry is still the aspiring country stars’ dream. Take a backstage tour of the Ryman Auditorium, the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Then attend a live taping of the famous country music radio program. Visit Sun Studios, where Rock ‘n’ Roll royalty recorded and see luthiers fashioning the iconic instruments cherished by the likes of Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend and Keith Richards on a tour of the Gibson Guitar Factory. Even some 30 years after Elvis left the building, you’ll find Graceland a fitting tribute to both the flamboyant talent and manic excess of the man they call the King. Capture a piece of American history among the batteries and blockades of Vicksburg National Military Park. The epic siege of the city is considered the turning point of the Civil War.

Day 1 - NASHVILLE - THE HONKY-TONK HOME OF COUNTRY MUSIC
Welcome to Nashville! Upon arrival at Nashville International Airport, there is a transfer to your luxury downtown hotel, just steps from the Broadway honky tonks which have launched a thousand careers. Relax and settle in at your luxurious, all-suite hotel or start your exploration of the world’s country music capital. Early evening join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception, drinks and light informal meal. After a restful night’s sleep, tour the heart of Nashville’s entertainment industry, home to the record labels, radio stations and recording studios where such greats as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Roger Miller and Dolly Parton recorded the hits that defined the Nashville sound. Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and see memorabilia from stars such as Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks. Your exploration of the city’s rhinestone-studded past continues with a backstage tour of Ryman Auditorium, the ‘Mother Church of Country Music’. No visit to Nashville would be complete without a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. Day 3 - MEMPHIS, GRACELAND AND THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE BLUES
Today, travel from the home of Country to the birthplace of Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll. Visit Sun Studios where some of music’s most iconic figures recorded. Walk in the footsteps of Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis and see the studios where their music came to life. Later, enjoy a guided tour of the Gibson Guitar Factory and discover the manufacturing secrets of the instrument giant. This evening, join your fellow guests on legendary Beale Street for a Highlight Dinner at Itta Bena, a 1920’s speakeasy-style restaurant above BB King’s Blues Club. The following morning is devoted to Graceland, as much an object of pilgrimage as a museum dedicated to the late, great Elvis Presley. From the flowers and painted signs outside the gates, to the tear-streaked cheeks of fans inside, see the effect that Elvis and his music had on popular American culture. On an audio tour, marvel at the Jungle Room, the private jets, custom cars and walls full of gold and platinum records. Day 5 - THE SIEGE OF VICKSBURG AND MISSISSIPPI MYSTIQUE IN NATCHEZ
Today, depart for Vicksburg National Military Park where the famous Civil War battle is remembered and commemorated. The park features, among many things, 1,325 historic monuments and markers, 20 miles of trenches, 2 antebellum houses, and 144 emplaced cannons. Continue to Natchez, founded by the French in 1716 when it became home to a flowering colonial culture. Check in to your charming, luxury country mansion hotel. Whet your palate before dinner during a mixology class to learn the “science” of making a signature drink of the south, the mint julep. Day 6 - BATON ROUGE AND THE WHITE GOLD OF THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA
Stop at Frogmore Plantation today and journey back to a time when slaves worked the fields and cotton was king. With your costumed hosts, tour a reconstructed 19th-century plantation and compare it to the modern-day operation that produces more than 900 bales of cotton each day. Then it’s on to Baton Rouge for a visit to the Old Louisiana State Capitol, one of the most distinguished examples of Gothic architecture in the United States. Upon arrival at your historic hotel, get settled in before joining a Viking Cooking Class for an exciting and unique dining experience. Day 7 - EXPLORING NEW ORLEANS, THE BIG EASY
Glimpse the sweet side of the south today with a visit to Houmas House Plantation. Once the largest producer of sugar in the country, the mansion was known as “The Sugar Palace” during its antebellum heyday. Spanning over 38 lush acres, the plantation is sprinkled with ponds, a majestic live oak alley and light breezes from the Mississippi River. Move on to New Orleans where your opulent hotel has been a French Quarter landmark since 1886. In the morning, board an airboat for a tour of the Honey Island Swamp to get up close and personal with the resident wildlife, including alligators. Sightseeing continues in the atmospheric French Quarter. With a local guide, explore Jackson Square and wind your way through the twisted paths of one of the “Cities of the Dead”, the above-ground final resting place of pirates, politicians and voodoo queens. Then it’s out to the lovely Garden District, home to one of the best preserved collections of Southern mansions in the United States.
