Journey down the coast to Martha’s Vineyard, the quaint island tucked against the New England coast, home to pristine sandy beaches, diverse outdoor attractions and historical and cultural draws. No stranger to presidential visits, the island has hosted Ulysses S. Grant, Bill Clinton and the Obamas, while the former U.S. first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis maintained a home here until her death. Arrive on the island by ferry and make your way to Oak Bluffs, which is known for its rainbow-coloured gingerbread cottages with storybook decorations, high-peaked roofs and dainty verandas. Get acquainted with the island on a tour, before reaching your prestigious hotel overlooking Edgartown’s beautiful harbour, lighthouse and Chappaquiddick Island.
