Laura Saxby Lynch

Rochester, N.Y., January 27, 2012 — AAA Western and Central New York has named Laura Saxby Lynch to its Board of Directors for 2012. Ms. Lynch, Director of Corporate Communications at Paychex, has been re-elected to serve a new 1-year term at the Club.

Ms. Lynch has been responsible for Paychex’s external communication efforts since 2001. Prior to her current position, she served as Senior Vice President of Communications for United Way of Greater Rochester, and spent 14 years as a journalist, including 12 years reporting, producing and anchoring for WHEC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rochester. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University.

Ms. Lynch’s community involvement spans beyond AAA Western and Central New York. She is a member of the Bishop’s Stewardship Council, for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester and is also on the WXXI Public Broadcasting Council Board of Trustees. Ms. Lynch holds several awards recognizing her professional career and civic accomplishments, most recently receiving the Ad Council of Rochester Lantern Award for community volunteer service in 2011.
