Melissa Honan

ITHACA, N.Y., January 2, 2012 — Melissa Honan has been promoted to Manager of the AAA Ithaca Travel & Insurance Center, located at 1284 Dryden Road. In her new role, Honan will be responsible for daily operations at the Ithaca location, including the delivery of all AAA product lines, community involvement, and the growth and development of new business and partnerships. Honan will also continue to work as Ithaca’s Group Travel Coordinator.

Honan has more than a decade of experience in the travel industry. She previously served as a Corporate Travel Consultant and Group Coordinator. Honan worked for Stone Travel prior to its acquisition by AAA in 2006.

Honan holds an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Travel and Tourism from Briarwood College in Southington, CT. She currently resides in Cortland.
