AAA Announces New Board Director

Steven C. Finch of Buffalo Named to Board


Buffalo, N.Y., January 23, 2012 — AAA Western and Central New York has named Steven Finch to its Board of Directors for 2012. Mr. Finch, General Manager of the GM Powertrain Tonawanda Engine Plant, has been elected to serve a 3-year term.

Mr. Finch is a native of Buffalo and has 34 years of manufacturing experience with General Motors. He is a 1976 graduate of Hutchinson Central Technical High School and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan.

Mr. Finch is the current Vice Chair of the Board of United Way of Buffalo and Erie County and, in addition to AAA Western and Central New York, also serves on the Board of the Buffalo Urban League. Prior to leaving the Michigan area, he was on the Board for the 100 Club of Flint and the Michigan Technical Education Center at Mott Community College. Mr. Finch has been married to his wife, Lillian, for more than 32 years and together the two have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
