AAA Announces New Travel Leadership
BUFFALO, N.Y., February 10, 2009 – AAA Western and Central New York is pleased to announce the promotion of three associates to leadership positions within the travel services department.
AAA Clarence Travel and Insurance Center Manager
Angela Wawrzynek has been named Manager of AAA’s newest Travel, Insurance, and Car Care Plus facility on Main Street in Clarence. She will be responsible for the membership and travel service and day to day operations of the location. Wawrzynek joined AAA in 1993 and previously served as the Assistant Manager of the Amherst Travel and Insurance Center.
Wawrzynek holds an Associate degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Bryant & Stratton College and is a certified Destination Specialist in North American travel. She resides in North Tonawanda with her family.
AAA Amherst Travel and Center Manager
Shelley Eastmer has been named Manger of AAA’s Amherst Travel and Insurance Center. Eastmer will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the Travel and Insurance Center. Additionally, Eastmer will retain responsibility of her pervious position with the Club; overseeing the travel service call center.
Eastmer hold an Associate degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Bryant & Stratton College and is a certified Destination Specialist in North American and Alaska travel. She resides in Williamsville with her family.
Travel Service Center Assistant Manager
Stacy Manley has been promoted to Assistant Manger of the Travel Service Call Center. Previously, Manley served as a travel consultant and team leader in AAA’s travel service center. She joined AAA Western and Central New York in 1998 after serving as a travel professional for AAA East Central in Warren, Penn. In her new role, Manley will assist with the management of day-to-day operations of the department.
Manley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Buffalo State College and an Associate degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Bryant & Stratton College. She resides in Kenmore.
