BUFFALO, N.Y., June 17, 2009– AAA Western and Central New York is pleased to announce three promotions within the Information Technology (I.T.) department.

Tracey Guarino

Director of Applications Development
Tracey Guarino has been promoted to Director of Applications Development within AAA’s Software Development area, a division of I.T. Guarino will be responsible for leading the technology portion of the Club’s customer relationship management (CRM) initiative.

Guarino joined AAA in 1990 and had held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently she served as the Manager of Club Information Systems.

Saroj Pithakpong

Manager of Telecommunications and Network Security
Saroj Pithakpong has been named Manager of Telecommunications and Network Security. Pithakpong will be responsible for overseeing existing telecommunications networks, voice operations, and data security for AAA.

Pithakpong joined AAA in 2005 as a Network Analyst and was later promoted to Information Systems Project Manager in 2007. Previously, Pithakpong served as an MIS Manager for Technology Distribution Network, Inc. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Chieng-Mai University in Thailand.

Manager of End User Computing and Support
Rod Bushart has been named Manager of End User Computing and Support. Bushart will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Information Technology, including user functions and help desk areas.

Bushart joined AAA in 2001 as an I.T. Support Assistant and was promoted to Network Analyst the same year. Most recently, Bushart was the Assistant Manager of I.T. for the Club. Previously, he served as a Database Administrator for AHT, Inc. Bushart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clarkson University.
