BUFFALO, N.Y., April 7, 2009 – Due to the tremendous response from AAA members and the general public in late 2008, AAA Members Insurance Agency will again be hosting AAA Insurance Days. AAA Insurance Days is a two-week event aimed at educating consumers about personal lines insurance needs, such as auto, homeowners, renters, and personal liability policies. The event will take place Monday, April 20th through Saturday, May 2nd throughout AAA Western and Central New York’s 14 Travel and Insurance Centers.

“AAA Insurance Days is the perfect opportunity to review your home and auto insurance policies with a licensed AAA Insurance agent to ensure that you have the coverage and protection that you need,” said David Weber, Vice President of AAA Members Insurance Agency. “Everyone has different insurance needs based on their current life situation and too often consumers carry coverage that doesn’t particularly match their needs or lifestyle.”

According to the Insurance Information Institute, close to 32 million households in the United States own insurance policies that aren’t right for them. It is important for consumers to understand their auto or home insurance policies and what their coverage means, in case of an accident or loss.

A simple review of insurance policies may also help consumers save money on their insurance needs. “AAA’s insurance agents are knowledgeable on the various coverage options and discounts that may be available to you, so you may be able to save additional money,” said Weber.

During AAA Insurance Days, AAA’s knowledgeable agents will be providing one-on-one policy reviews to ensure that consumers have the proper coverage to match their individual or family lifestyles and offer potential discounts to help lower premium costs. AAA Insurance agents will also advise consumers where they may need more or less coverage and why it is important to have a complete, customized policy.

AAA Insurance Days will take place during normal AAA Western and Central New York business hours April 20th through May 2nd.
