AAA Names Western New York "Top Shops"

Twenty Local Repair Facilities Rated Best in Customer Satisfaction

BUFFALO, NY, DECEMBER 4, 2007 - Nineteen AAA Approved Auto Repair facilities and one AAA Approved Auto Body Repair facility have been awarded the AAA "Top Shop" Award for 2007, according to AAA Western and Central New York.

Between September 2006 and August 2007, AAA reviewed service evaluation cards received from customers who had work completed at one of the many AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) and AAA Approved Auto Body Repair (AABR) facilities in Western and Central New York. The facilities were then ranked and awarded based on customer satisfaction ratings.

AAA presents the facilities with a plaque, distinguishing each as a "Top Shop." There are 129 AAR facilities and 28 AABR facilities in the AAA Western and Central New York territory, and 58 and 12 in the Buffalo-Niagara region, respectively. Repair centers displaying the AAA Approved sign excel in workmanship, service, training, appearance, and reputation. To ensure these high standards are maintained, AAA inspects approved facilities annually, and continually monitors their performance.
