AAA Celebrates Re-Opening of State-of-the-Art Travel and Insurance Center

ROCHESTER, NY, DECEMBER 13, 2007 - AAA Western and Central New York celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of its newly renovated AAA Travel and Insurance Center in Penfield today. Participants in the formal ribbon cutting included: AAA President and CEO, Tom Chestnut; Penfield Chamber of Commerce President, Michael Bloch; and Penfield Town Supervisor, George Wiedemer.

"We are proud to have completed a remodeling project that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve and the 78,000 members and travelers who visit this location annually," said Tom Chestnut, President/CEO of AAA Western and Central New York. The AAA Penfield Travel and Insurance Center has been located at 2156 Penfield Road in the Park Side Commons since 1991.

The recently renovated, state-of-the-art Center ushers in a new look and method of taking care of members' needs, including the AAA.com Internet Café, flat screen plasma TV, and a dedicated area for home and automobile insurance transactions. Passport photos, luggage and other travel essentials are also available.

The AAA.com Internet Café allows members and travelers to access AAA.com to search the travel website, request driving directions, and produce their own Internet TripTiks®. Manual routings are still available on-demand.
