AAA Celebrates Grand Opening of Exciting New Travel and Insurance Center


BUFFALO, NY, NOVEMBER 15, 2007
- AAA Western and Central New York celebrated the Grand Opening of its new AAA Ken-Ton Travel and Insurance Center in Tonawanda today. Tracey Lukasik, Executive Director of the Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce, and Tharwat Abouraya, AAA Vice President, participated in the formal ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 1737 Sheridan Drive in the Panera Bread Plaza, this facility ushers in a new look and method of taking care of members' travel needs. "This state-of-the-art AAA Travel and Insurance Center is easier to locate, offers better access for our clients, and overall is more conducive to serving the needs of our members," said Tharwat Abouraya, Vice President, AAA Western and Central New York. The retail facility was previously located at 2658 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo.

The new location is well situated with easy access to I-290 and features the AAA.com Internet Café, flat screen plasma TV's, and an area for home and automobile insurance transactions. Passport photos, luggage and other travel essentials are also available.

The AAA.com Internet Cafe allows members and travelers to access AAA.com to search the travel website, request driving directions, and produce their own Internet TripTiks®. Manual routings can be pre-ordered for pick up at the new location, and on-demand requests will continue to be available at nearby AAA Travel and Insurance Centers, including the Amherst Headquarters at 100 International Drive, Williamsville.
