Why our Members still love TripTiks

One thing our members consistently tell us is just how much they love TripTiks. Many drivers of course have a GPS, but experienced AAA members tell us they prefer to use TripTiks, Maps, and TourBooks together with their GPS for four big reasons.

  1. They get the most current info on construction delays (and how to avoid them).
  2. They find points of interest for stops along the way.
  3. GPS sometimes loses its signal, so they like having a paper product for backup.
  4. TripTiks and maps give them the bigger picture of where they are.

Taking trips by car or flying and then using a car in the area.

I ALWAYS GET TRIP TIK MAPS FOR CORRECT ROUTES TO THE AREA AND AREA MAPS FOR USE. They are extrememly helpful for sightseeing, local driving routes, accomadations, auto and service stations, etc. THE TRIP TIK MAPS ARE MUCH MORE HELPFUL TO USE WHEN DRIVING A DISTANCE AS THEY ARE VERY SPECIFIC AS TO ROAD CONDITIONS, GAS AND HOTEL NEEDS. I prefer them over the GPS.

the closing of the Dunkirk Office makes it difficult for many having to travel many miles to the nearest AAA for triptiks, traelers checks etc.

You can always call us at (800) 836-2582 and get your TripTiks, TourBooks, etc. over the phone. We'll ship them right to your house so you don't have to drive to another office. You can also create your own TripTik online. Visit Maps & Guides for more information.
