Cooperstown combines small-town charm with world-class attractions, a beautiful lake and a "Main Street" way of life. This past weekend, Cooperstown was in the national spotlight with the induction of Barry Larkin and Ron Santo into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit Cooperstown for a conference and experience the beauty of Otsego Lake, the history of the Baseball Hall of Fame, a walk down Main Street and the Fenimore Art Museum.
Getting There
From Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, take the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 30 (Herkimer), then take Route 28 South to Cooperstown.

Cooperstown is perfect for a 3-day getaway—give yourself a little time to adapt to the pace of this small town.
The Baseball Hall of Fame is the major attraction in Cooperstown. Allow a couple of hours to see all the exhibits. AAA Members save $2.00 on the price of admission.
