Part Time - Year-Round and Seasonal positions positions available in the Greater Buffalo, Genesee County and Rochester, NY areas!

• Involves the delivery of the Licensed to Learn curriculum to novice drivers in behind-the-wheel setting.
• Successful completion of extensive 40-60 hour training program is mandatory, with evaluation on behind-the-wheel proficiency.
• Successful completion of the New York State Dept. of Motor Vehicle MV-524 certification and 30-hour in-car instructor course is mandatory.
• Conducts AAA's Licensed to Learn program in an in-car setting on weeknights or weekends.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring safe operation of AAA vehicles used for the purposes of Driver Training and Education.
• May involve travel to outlying areas of the Club territory.
• Ability to maneuver within a motor vehicle required.
• Ability to sit in a vehicle for a period of time that may be up to 2 hours.
• General office environment and in-car settings.
• May involve distant travel to outlying areas of Club territory.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problems that may arise during the course of teaching.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Driver Education and and/or Traffic Safety is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• General knowledge of existing AAA Driver Programs.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic safety/traffic laws.
• New York State Driver's License must be free of violations for a period of at least two years prior.
• A complete background check will be performed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong verbal and writing skills required.
